Where: Windward YMCA (Located in back of Y) – 1200 Kailua Road, Kailua, 96734

Parking available in front of Windward Y

What to Bring: The lo’i will be muddy

  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting muddy
  • Wear rubber boots for work in the lo’i or you can go barefoot
  • You may bring work gloves
  • Light snacks provided
  • Bring your own water bottle, sunscreen, and insect repellent

Registration: Walk-Ins are welcome, but we recommend you register in advance on Eventbrite so we know to expect you.

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.
