Turtle Fest Beach Cleanup

April 29 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm EDT

Turtle Fest Beach Cleanup

We are super excited to host the cleanup portion of Turtle Fest alongside the support of the City of Miami Beach. Turtle Fest is an event that brings together the local community to honor these magnificent creatures and raise awareness about conserving their homes and our environment. Meet sea turtle experts, learn about their habitats and migration patterns, and discover ways to help protect them for future generations. Enjoy delicious food and drinks from local vendors while soaking up the sun and taking in the beautiful views.

A big THANK YOU to the City of Miami Beach for working with us. This event would not be possible without them.

Important:

  • Closed-toed shoes are recommended for cleaning in the dunes
  • Bring your own water (no plastic please), we will have a refill station
  • We’ll provide sanitized garden gloves, buckets, and a picker, but bring your own if you prefer
  • Wear reef-safe sun protection and a hat

Contact:

Please be on time, we will start on time. Community Service hours available. All ages are welcome. Our environment gives us life. Let’s protect it.

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.

Some snorkel, dive or beach cleanups may require proper certification and being comfortable in or around the water and familiar with water safety. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. Mahalo 🤙
