The minimum age to volunteer is 10 years old. Chaperones are required for individuals age 10-15.

In addition, please note that:

  • Volunteers must abide by all rules mentioned in the pre-cleanup safety talk
  • Please bring a full water bottle (the water fountain will be unavailable for use at this time)
  • Restrooms will not be available for use at this time

Volunteers are asked to arrive by 8:45 a.m. for a contactless sign-in, workday instructions will follow. Please arrive on time as the safety discussion will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., and we will begin our walking cleanup shortly after. We will be providing all necessary tools for cleanup as well as disposable gloves. The workday will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will run through 11:00 a.m. School groups or corporate teams must contact the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule events.

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.

Some snorkel, dive or beach cleanups may require proper certification and being comfortable in or around the water and familiar with water safety. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. Mahalo 🤙
