November 12, 2022 @ 2:45 pm - 4:45 pm EST

teamtide turnover!!! – beach cleanup

Hello Everyone!!

Join TeamTide on November 12th to help Turnover Historic Virginia Key Beach Parks tide! Enjoy an electronic photo booth, Iced treats, Snacks, & the journey of creating change!

The meeting point is in front of the parking lot, as soon as you enter should see us and if not with the sound of music! If you are planning on parking, there is parking available for $8. We ask that you are on time so that we can all walk together toward the cleanup location. We will offer gloves & buckets and if there are not enough buckets we will have bags! We use an app called Clean Swell to track how much we collect, so be sure to have that prepared for our cleanup together.

MANDATORY:

to participate in the cleanup, the park requires you + whoever you bring to sign this waiver.

– Closed Toed Shoes are recommended
– Reusable Water Bottle (If not we have water for you

We will be taking photos during the event as well!

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.

Some snorkel, dive or beach cleanups may require proper certification and being comfortable in or around the water and familiar with water safety. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. Mahalo 🤙
