Rakastella Beer & Beach Cleanup

December 6, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST

Event Series Event Series (See All)
north pole island coast hawaii

Join us for some sunset tunes & brews as we clean the beach after Rakastella Music Festival!

We ❤ partnering up with Rakastella Music Festival as it is one of the most eco-conscious & sustainable festivals that we have witnessed, and takes place at one of our most favorite beaches, Historic Virginia Key Beach Park! Thanks to guidance from the consultants & EXPERTS at Ascendance Sustainable Events, this year’s Rakastella will be #PLASTICFREE as there will be:

  • Free water refill stations
  • Single-use plastic and styrofoam-free bars and food areas
  • Aluminum can recycling program with backstage sorting

And even with all this mindfulness towards the beautiful venue space, their team wants to partner up for our annual beach cleanup on the Tuesday following the event, to ensure that the festival truly #LeavesNoTrace!

But in true Rakastella and Debris Free Oceans fashion, we will obviously make this a #PartyWithAPurpose! Join us for a sunset beach cleanup while we dance to some beats and enjoy leftover beers from the festival – making sure they get used 😉 and then properly recycled!

You MUST be 21+ receive free beer.

Drive into the back of the park and meet us by the Orange Pavilion. See you there!

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.

Some snorkel, dive or beach cleanups may require proper certification and being comfortable in or around the water and familiar with water safety. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. Mahalo 🤙
