Young Friends of Jupiter Beach Cleanup

WHEN: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm

WHERE: Ocean Cay Park, southeast corner of  US Hwy. 1 at 2188 Marcinski Road.  (North of Donald Ross Rd., South of Indiantown Rd.) Anita Lankler Pavilion (which faces the beach road)

WHAT HAPPENS:   Students will clean a 2 ½ mile stretch from the Juno Beach Pier to the southern edge of Carlin Park (crossovers 22-59)

Beach cleanups are canceled in rain or dangerous weather. If canceled, no rescheduling, see you next month!


  • Grab your gloves, grabbers & small bags, provided by us
  • Join a team
  • Follow Team Captain (orange shirts) instructions for cleanup areas.  Some sections require driving, some sections require walking
  • Clean on the beach, along walkways, under crossovers, in parking areas, in the park, etc. We separate recyclables.   Please follow the Friends of Jupiter Beach Volunteer Code of Safety.
  • Organized groups must contact us at hello@friendsofjupiterbeach.org.


  • ARRIVE WEARING: Closed-toe shoes, hats, sunscreen, bug spray.  NO FLIP-FLOPS.  Protect arms and legs.
  • LEAVE BAGS BY THE TRASHCANS ON THE SIDEWALK; not on the beach, not on the road.  Help Team Captains dump into large black bags or blue recyclables bags.


  • STUDENTS desiring school community service credit MUST check in by 3pm sharp to receive CS credit.
  • ORGANIZED GROUPS should call at least two weeks ahead of time and we will return the call to confirm the cleanup date.

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.

Some snorkel, dive or beach cleanups may require proper certification and being comfortable in or around the water and familiar with water safety. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. Mahalo 🤙
