Kaupō Baby Maks Beach Cleanup!

Let’s clean up this beautiful beach!

Community Service Hours Signed: YES

Age Groups: All ages welcome. Participants under 16 years of age must have a parent or guardian attend for the duration of the activity (we love having them participate as well!) We will provide multiple activity options for you based on age, physical ability, and interest.

How to join: Please send an RSVP by any of the following methods: 808 Cleanups App, Email at 808cleanups@gmail.com, DM on Instagram, replies on our Facebook group. When your RSVP is confirmed, please make sure to sign the waiver here: https://808cleanups.org/waiver/

Where to meet: Look for the orange 808 Cleanups truck with a banner parked along the roadside parking area makai (ocean) side across from the Sea Life Park entrance that is closest to Waimanalo.

Work Priorities: Beach cleanup! Get ready for small items as well as big items from illegal dumping.

What to bring: Whatever footwear you feel comfortable walking long distances, sun protection and water.

What 808 Cleanups brings: 808 Cleanups will provide all cleanup tools and supplies. We will also have ice cold water.

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.
