Kahului Beach Road Cleanup

Our clean up of Kahului beach, Location will be kahului beach road coming up towards jack in the box, on the right where the food truck is. Kahului Beach Road, along the rocky beach just west of Kahului Harbor across from Veterans Peace Park. Turn right into the gravel parking on the makai side of the road before the Jack-N-the-Box. Look for our Surfrider flags at the location. Please feel free to bring your gloves and reusable bag or bucket, or our gloves and grain bags can be borrowed.  Don’t forget to bring your water bottle, hat, and sunscreen!

Purpose: Help us remove plastics and ocean waste to make our world beautiful for everyone! Connect with like-minded folks who care about the environment!

Role: Volunteers will be helping clean up ocean plastics, debris, and waste from our gorgeous tropical beaches

Vibe: Make an impact by giving back to planet earth!

Location: Kahului, HI

All volunteers get 30% off food at Moku Roots on the day of the cleanups! – Moku Roots is offering a 30% discount on the day of events for those volunteers that post a picture at the event and tag both Maui Surfrider and Moku Roots.

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.
