Join Greenagers, a San Francisco Rec & Park and Port of San Francisco youth empowerment program, in our 2nd Saturday volunteer in Heron’s Head Park. Home to over 100 species and the EcoCenter, a classroom for many local schools, community-based organizations, and government agencies. Heron’s Head Park offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history of the Bayview/ Hunter’s Point neighborhood and its diverse open space.

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.
Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.
