Earth day beach cleanup

Earth Day Beach Cleanup

We are super excited to co-host this cleanup with Ocean Recovery Group.

The Ocean Recovery Group is working to solve the planet’s ocean-bound plastic crisis in the western hemisphere. Ocean Recovery Group is a social-business enterprise that leverages over 100 years of recycling-industry experience to better collect, clean, and recycles ocean-bound plastics.

A big THANK YOU to our sponsors 4G Recycling and AE Global. This event would not be possible without them.

Our environment gives us life. Let’s protect it.

IMPORTANT:

  • Closed-toed shoes are recommended for cleaning in the dunes
  • Bring your own water (no plastic please), we will have a refill station
  • We’ll provide sanitized garden gloves, buckets, and a picker, but bring your own if you prefer
  • Wear reef-safe sun protection and a hat

Please be on time, we will start on time.

Community Service hours available. All ages are welcome. Our environment gives us life. Let’s protect it. For our planet, the CMB team

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.

Some snorkel, dive or beach cleanups may require proper certification and being comfortable in or around the water and familiar with water safety. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. Mahalo 🤙
