Candlestick Point State Recreation Area Cleanup

Come join Wild Keeper Rebecca to clean up Candlestick Point State Recreation Area with California State Parks + No Worries Amigo Hiking Club!

Who: Everyone! Bring friends, family, and more friends!

When: 12/03/2022 from 9am-12pm

Where: Meet in the parking lot near Jackrabbit beach

Stuff to Know:

  • Wear outdoor appropriate attire and your Keep Nature Wild gear is always a plus. Shoes/boots and long pants are always recommended as well as a hat or some form of shade.
  • We will provide bags and gloves. Feel free to bring trash grabbers and buckets in lieu of bags.
  • You don’t need any sort of pass or permit for this event.
  • Cleanup events are inherently dangerous and can be strenuous. We will be reviewing safety precautions prior to the cleanup.

Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.

Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.
