BBC FIU Beercan Island Cleanup
Hey everyone, join us on March 11th as we will be hosting a cleanup at BBC FIU Beercan Island!
We will be cleaning up Biscayne Bay Campus FIU Beercan Island on March 11th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Look for our Blue tent to sign-in. Sanitized gloves and bags will be provided, please come prepared with the following materials!
- Closed Toed shoes (that can get dirty)
- Bug Spray or long sleeves for the mosquitos
- Reusable Water Bottle
- Sun Protection
Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.
Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.
