Volunteers needed for Park Greening Day! Come out and join the Alamo Square Neighbors Association in their recurring volunteering work party. Activities include planting, gardening, weeding, and general park maintenance. Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. The event takes place rain or shine.Â
Meet at the Hayes and Steiner Tennis Courts near the restrooms.
Great for families. Bring the kids and friends to beach cleanups and restoration projects. See where plastics end up and why it’s important to reduce plastic use and commit to more sustainable agriculture and fishing with less adverse human impact.
Be sure to RSVP, sign a waiver (if applicable) and check with the mentioned organizer to confirm details in advance.
