Public Manatee Tour

Join our most popular adventure! As we explore Kings Bay, in search of Florida’s favorite resident, The Florida Manatee! It is a privilege to swim with these majestic creatures, and a wild experience that is unique to Citrus County Florida!

Schedule: 6am, 11am, and 2pm

Additional Information

We always recommend the early morning public and private tours for the best experience
Captains are generally in the water, not on the boat. If it doesn’t work out with a younger child one of the parents would have to stay with them on the boat
We accept walk-in’s, but we may not have room on the boat
There’s no discount for children because the Coast Guard limits the “seats” we can sell

Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 72 hours notice of cancellation.
Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Meet Birds Underwater Dive Center

From scalloping, scuba diving, to swimming with the manatees, we have a host of tour options to cater to your idea of an adventure. Experience a guided tour in one of our local underwater spring fed caverns, or level up to technical dive training. For the not so adventurous, manatee swim tours are for all ages and actually do not involve a lot of swimming. We provide wetsuits and swim noodles, so guests can float quietly on the surface of the water. We passively observe these gentle giants as they mosey around our beautiful bay! We also offer eco tours daily, where you will see a variety of birds, occasional dolphin sightings, and other Florida wildlife!
