PADI Open Water Referral Course

With PADI’s Open Water Referral Course, you can complete your Knowledge Development and Pool Dives at a local PADI dive store near you and then join Dive Oahu’s ohana to finish your scuba certification in paradise!

Details

• Duration: 2 Days: 3-4 Hours per day
• Schedule:
  1. This course requires two (2) boat charters
  2. The boat charters are from 10 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 5 pm, depending on availability
• Hire a photographer for $95
• Included:
  1. All premium gear needed
  2. Light snack with refreshments
  3. Guided tour by a PADI Professional
  4. Hotel pick-up/drop-off

Requirements

• Completed Student Record and Referral Form – This will be provided by the PADI shop that completed your Knowledge Development and Confined Water sections and is only valid for one year.
• PADI Medical Questionnaire – You must review the PADI Medical Questionnaire and have a physician sign the medical statement if you answered ‘yes’ to any question prior to any in-water training.
• All divers must provide height, weight, shoe size, and date of birth
• All divers MUST be able to swim and in good physical health
• Divers must be at the boat harbor 30 minutes before the scheduled boat dive to allow time for waivers and equipment fitting

• Reef Safe Sunscreen
• Swimwear
• Towel
• Camera
• Sunglasses
• Gratuity for crew

Health & Safety

• Divers must NOT be flying within 24 hours of diving
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• All crew & passenger temperatures will be checked before boarding
• All gears are sanitized properly

Additional Information

• Step 1: Complete your Knowledge Development and Pool Dives at your local shop.
• Step 2: Sign up with us and bring your referral paperwork!
• Please meet us at our dive shop located in Kewalo Boat Harbor, 1085 Ala Moana Blvd, Unit 109
• Parking is $2 per hour. Accepts both cash and credit card payment.
• Dive Oahu’s boat is fully equipped with both a sun deck and a shaded deck, plenty of space to move around, and a restroom on board.

Cancellation Policy

• If a student does not meet course standards, he/she will be charged the following fees:
  1. $179 – Makeup boat session
• Reservations canceled with at least 48 hours’ notice can be rescheduled or refunded, excluding the eLearning fee (if opened). There is no refund for eLearning once the code has been opened.
• Reservations canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice can be rescheduled for the $35 administrative rescheduling fee.
